The Iowa Property Rights Council is an unincorporated nonprofit association focused on the protection of individual property rights as protected in the Constitutions of both the United States and the State of Iowa. Particular attention will be focused on regional planning by unelected officials.
We work with the voting taxpayer public to ensure a clear understanding of the threats created by these new entities, evaluate the structure and governance, and help to improve them so that elected officials remain in control and accountable to the taxpayers.
These regional organizations typically address three broad categories; environmental goals, economic goals, and social goals. These are in line with the United Nations Agenda 21 Plan and follow its strategies.
In addition to educating residents in Iowa, we are creating watch dog action groups to respond immediately to decisions being written for cities and counties, e.g. The Tomorrow Plan in metro Des Moines and the Watershed Authority contracts. We will continue to monitor, question and speak out regarding these plans that shift decision making to unelected officials and unelected boards.
